Overview
  • Delve into future-focused digital and collaborative learning

With the demands of an increasingly digitised world, there is a growing awareness among educators that teaching and learning need to evolve to better prepare teachers and students for this changing world.

On this course from The Mind Lab, you’ll learn to integrate digital technologies effectively into the curriculum to help your learners develop the skills required for the 21st century, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate.

Discover how to integrate digital learning into your curriculum

In order to help the next generation of learners, you need to understand their needs in a digital world. This two-week course will provide you with insights into these next-generation learners and common aspects of digital curricula.

You’ll also explore, with real-world examples, how digital tools can be used in creative ways in cross-curricular contexts.

Explore collaborative learning tools for yourself and your learners

The second part of this course will guide you through collaborative learning, what it means for learners, and how tools such as the ITL learning rubrics can support you in designing learning activities.

It’s also extremely important as a teacher that you don’t work in a silo. You’ll look at teacher collaboration and ways to develop your personal learning networks (PLN), supported by personal learning environments (PLE) in this interconnected world.
