Marco credits his knowledge of light and colour with his obsession of constantly painting outdoors. In this video workshop, Marco will take you through his process when painting from life outdoors.
Four paintings will be featured: three in watercolour, and one in Marco's watercolor/gouache travel sketchbook. Topics discussed will include composition, light and shadow, colour temperatures and mixing, tools, and Marco's personal thoughts on working effectively outdoors. This workshop is the next best thing to shadowing an artist live while he explains what he's looking for, and how to translate it in the medium of paint.
