    Throughout the course, you’ll be taught by experienced pharmacists from Taipei Veterans General Hospital who will share their clinical experiences. Through these cases, you’ll see how Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) guidelines are being established in this hospital.

    The role of pharmacists has become more diverse over time, with many now providing clinical services. But medication distribution is still an important responsibility of pharmacists, especially in hospital pharmacies.

    This course will take you through an introduction to the medication distribution systems used in hospitals, exploring how these systems have evolved. You’ll then assess each of the four systems, identifying their pros and cons in real-world settings.

    Discover the importance of pharmacy informatics

    Having an effective database of data, knowledge, and information is an important part of the medication-use and patient treatment process.

    You’ll explore pharmacy informatics, what it is, and how to use it to improve the efficiency and safety of medication use. You’ll also look at how and when to deliver this knowledge to patients in order to educate them on their medications.

    Explore the medication distribution system currently being used in Taiwan

    This course will guide you through practical examples of how medication distribution is used in Taiwan. You’ll dive into the standards and requirements of drug delivery systems in hospitals, using Taipei Veterans General Hospital as a case study to show you the real-world use of these systems.

    This course is designed for anyone with an interest in pharmaceutical service, especially those currently practising pharmacy.
