Watercolour Nature Journaling

I love keeping a nature journal, but painting with watercolours in nature can be challenging, especially if you're out hiking or traveling and you're short on time. I wanted to share the many quick techniques that I've learnt to painting nature scenes in a journal but because there are so many elements to nature I decided to break them up into smaller classes.

In this class I show you how to quickly capture ripples and waves on the sea. At the end of class we paint a simple picture using the techniques learnt in class. This will give you the confidence to select a technique and paint the ocean when next you're there.
