This course is a sketching practice activity for UX designers and other design professionals. If you draw along with me throughout the course, you can develop your sketching skills, and at the same time get to know the different Gestalt principles.
Goal
The main goal of this course is to practice your UX sketching and UI sketching skills by going through examples for the different Gestalt principles.
Target Audience
This sketching practice activity is for everyone who already knows at least a little bit about sketching and UX design.
This course is mainly for UX designers, UI designers, product designers, service designers, web designers and other professionals, whose goal is developing digital products.
Skill level
This is a practice activity, you can easily follow along even if you are a beginner, and at the same time you can also benefit from doing this exercise if you are already a skilled visual thinker.
Sketching is great because
- this technique takes into account how our visual perception works - when we look at images, we understand them much faster than we read words;
- it can reveal things we might have not seen before, connections we have not noticed;
- it enables a mutual understanding;
- it supports the fail fast approach;
- it is a quick and cheap way to generate many ideas.
