Stock markets are growing every year around the globe. However, this growth doesn't make the process of investing less complicated. With all the analytics and predictions, strategies and approaches to investing on the Internet, it is really easy to get lost and never start building up your portfolio.

Investing is hard. There are thousands of people for whom it is the main source of income. They work with that every day and all day at a highly professional level. So, knowing the basics is a must.

The purpose of this course is to provide you with a solid theoretical foundation so that the only person you need to listen to when making investment decisions is yourself. The course is divided into several parts. Each part is dedicated to a specific aspect of business operation and stock markets. In Part 1, you are going to find answers to such questions as "How do shares work?", "Why invest in shares?", "Why companies issue shares", etc.
