To bring you closer to the tranquil feeling of holidays, in this class, I will take you step by step through illustrating a stylized landscape of a beautiful seaside with turquoise waters and calming waves.
Like many of you, I love to create environments for the stories and characters, and I want to show you how to bring the essence of the environment to your audience.
In this class, you will learn:
- Quick tips about layouts and composition
- What brushes to use to paint water
- How to paint water, ocean, and waves using blending techniques
- How to use real-life references to add details and characters
After taking this class you will have a lovely seaside illustration that you can print out for your home or give to your family or friends as a nice holiday card.
I will be using Procreate app on my iPad, but feel free to use any drawing software or medium you prefer.
You will find a link to the mood board with photo references, line art sketch to follow along if you want, and color swatches for Procreate and other drawing software in the resources section.
