    The Governance Standards are a set of six core minimum standards that deal with how a charity is run.

    This short course is the second of two which offer practical guidance on how your charity can meet the Governance Standards given the many variables making each charity’s circumstances unique.

    You will learn scalable ways of how to apply Governance Standards 4-6 to your charity (Suitability of Responsible Persons, Duties of Responsible Persons, Maintaining and enhancing public trust and confidence in the Australian not-for-profit sector).

    You will also learn how to ensure your charity winds up according to the Governance Standards.

    This course is designed for anyone looking to understand and apply the minimum legal requirements for a charity.

    It is professional development, leadership training, and personal development and will be particularly useful to existing and aspiring charity board members, or anyone that provides advice to the charity sector.
