Overview: The Boost Community, an initiative of the Sabin Vaccine Institute, is excited to partner with Adaptive Change Advisors (ACA) and World Health Organization to offer a globally recognized leadership development course for immunization and other health professionals. This self-paced course strengthens participants’ capacity to lead consequential, “adaptive” change in challenging and uncertain contexts, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The learning package consists of four modules, which introduce Adaptive LeadershipTM – a framework and set of strategies and techniques developed at Harvard University over the past 35 years.

Learning objectives: By the end of this course, participants should be able to answer the following questions:

    • What is Adaptive Leadership and why is it important to my work as an immunization or health professional?
    • What is my purpose and biggest aspiration for my work and the people I serve?
    • How do I identify leadership moments in my work?
    • What specific step can I take to better leverage my own leadership potential?

    Course duration: Approximately 2 hours.

Certificate: A confirmation of participation is issued to those who have completed 100% of the course material.
