AWS Managed Services (AMS) Advanced customers partner with AMS Advanced to design, implement, and test a disaster recovery (DR) strategy tailored to their business operations. In this course, you will learn the advantages of implementing disaster recovery with AMS Advanced and how to perform the most common DR tasks.

In this course, you will learn to:
• Identify how AMS supports your DR strategy
• Back up managed resources using AWS Backup
• Replicate backups across Amazon Web Services (AWS) Regions
• Restore managed resources from backup
• Replicate and restore Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances with CloudEndure

Prerequisites
We recommend that attendees of this course have:
• Basic understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery
• Experience working with IT infrastructure, backup, and restore procedures
• Experience working with AMS processes, such as accessing the console and submitting Requests for Change (RFCs)
• Basic understanding of CloudEndure services
